And that is why I do what I do!

Next, Carol and I traveled to lead a conference at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Thanks to Leslie Umstattd for her wonderful leadership! I met a student there from Cuba which was so neat because my husband Charles was in Cuba on a mission trip at that very time. She was coming here to learn about ministry so that she could go back to her oppressed nation to share Christ! WOW! Also met a lady who told me that she and her husband were about to graduate from seminary. Did I forget to mention that they were both in their 80's? What an example both of these were to me!

Carol and I went back for the second year to the New England Baptist Convention's Ladies' Retreat. What an absolute blessing to hear the praises of over 300 women lifted to the Lord. Retreats like this one in the New England area are few and far between. No wonder these ladies did not take one minute of our worship for granted! I was also able to lead a training session for female worship leaders from the six New England States. We had an awesome time of prayer and collaboration as we remembered the true passion behind our callings!

I capped off the Spring singing at the Craig Mayes Baptist Association's Sr. Adult Day here at Green Country Camp and sharing a "Mothers and Others" program at First Baptist Church in Langley, OK. And, I can't forget the CD Release Concert held at FBC, Vinita, OK (my home church) that has to go on the highlight reel of my life! It was truly an incredible night that once again reminded me why I do what I do!

SO I finally come to my prayer requests! Here they are:

1. Pray that the new CD reaches people for Christ (the plan of salvation is presented on Track 9). And, that it encourages believers in their daily walks with God.

2. Pray that I completely rely on God for my Fall Schedule!

3. Pray for me next week as I lead worship at my 2nd summer camp!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

amy

Amy Hill Ministries

For music samples, bio, and calendar visit

www.amyhillministries.com

Jan/Feb Ministry Update 2010

Dear Prayer Partners! 2010? Couldn't be! But, more than ever, ministry is so important! Not just this one, but any ministry that points people to the God they so desparately need! He commands to go out and tell. It is the driving force behind Amy Hill Ministries. Please continue to pray that this will never change! In January, I enjoyed a one day concert tour in Texas. I began the day with my good friends, Jerry and Brian Hays, at Valwood Park Baptist Church in Farmer's Branch. It was such a blessing to share with people so open and ready to hear what the Lord had for them through song. Then, straight on to First Baptist Church, Mart, TX. A full concert that night made for a long day. But, knowing that even one person was touched or somehow changed is worth it all! I appreciate Bro. Gary Kreder for having me out and for all of his hard work getting ready! I was also able in January to lead worship at Fatih Baptist Church in Claremore, OK, for their "Winter Word Family Conference". There is nothing like lifting up the name of the Lord with others who love Him just as much! Thanks to Bro. Terrell Romberg (pastor) and to Tim Green (speaker for the conference and one of our Oklahoma DOM's) for letting me be used in that way. The Spirit was moving and it was just a privilige to be there. Oh, and I went to Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Claremore as well to sing before Charles preached there. It's been a busy month! NEWS!!!!!!!! I am finally in the studio! My 4th full length album, You Can Do More, is due for release in April! I was just in the studio yesterday and laid down about 8 tracks or so (looooooooooong day!) But, the Lord has blessed, through your prayers, to provide me with a wonderful studio and producer (www.drappstudios.com) in Tulsa. Please continue to pray for this project. There are a lot of little and big things that need to fall together before sending it out for replication. I am "under the gun" as they say but I know the Lord can pull me through. I go to the studio again all day tomorrow and then my favorite part (note the sarcasm here)...pictures on Saturday! A couple of neat things about the project, Carol Sallee (www.carolsallee.com), laid down a track yesterday with the plan of salvation. Just like the others I've made, this CD is once again a tangible witnessing tool. Not just songs, but spoken word as well. It is something you can place in the hands of someone who does not know Christ and (if they listen to it) you will KNOW that they have heard the best news out there.... news that SAVES! I am so excited about that part. And, let me tell you, Carol did an awesome job yesterday! In case you've forgotten, she is my partner in ThreeFold Ministries (she speaks, I sing). Also, my friend and music minister at FBC, Vinita, Jeremy Annett, will be joining me on a couple of songs. He has an INCREDIBLE voice but better yet, he has a PASSION for worshipping the Lord. Not just in song, but in life! Sorry about the long update. I am just so excited to be where God is working. I pray the same for each and every one of you! Be sure to check out the pics I've attached! You can check out more on my Facebook!

In love, amy

Amy Hill Ministries

For music samples, bio, and calendar visit

www.amyhillministries.com
